Hit or Miss, Prophesy ?
One thing for sure, many people including the Lord’s children have made a mockery, out of the word Prophesy. And all of the other supposed prognosticators, and the devils children, running around trying to deceive the world.
Here hangs the greatest prophet of all times. He knows the beginning, and the end. He knows the second you were born, and the second he is going to yank your silver cord, the moment you will die.
That’s why a little explanation is due. First of all, how can you hear from your Father, if he isn’t’ your Father, to begin with.(Matthew 6:24) The only way to hear from God, is through his Son, Jesus Christ. Just like here on earth. So many of us never knew much about our earthly Dad’s because we never took the time to be close to him. So how do you expect to be close to God either? (John 14:6) Clearly says you have to go through Jesus to get to the Father, that includes, being able to commune with him.
Even as a child of the Lord, discernment, is very long and arduous process. God forces you to draw near, by having trials in your life, get it? That’s what a fiery trial does, it draws you near. If a child here on earth is having difficulties, pain, suffering or problem’s. If he is close with his Dad, he will sit down and they will commune together, and listen to each other, get it?
This is why so much of supposed Prophesy fails to come to pass. As well as I, have a very let’s say so so record but, getting better the longer I have been walking with my Father. But, also sometimes when you hear prophesy, it can take years to come to pass.
Here is a true hit. Happened around 2002-2003, I think.One night before I went to bed, I was doing my, some what normal bedtime prayers, communing with Jesus. Probably, crying out to him, complaining, about our problems, beet long and many. Like a Father and Son would do if they were close.
Just before I went to bed, I heard a very small still voice, not audibly, but through my heart. I know hard to understand, but true. The next morning the wife and I were going on a local Car Club Cruise, with about 30 to 40 other Muscle Cars. 
We got together every month or so and went on a 50-60 mile cruise. Boy I miss those days. Lot of fun.
The Lord spoke to me and specifically told me to go in the morning to tell Ed to be careful tomorrow while driving. So after we had driven about 20 miles or so. We all stopped to get gas, and munchies. I went up to Ed, he knew I was a Christian. So I approached his car boldly, and said hey Ed. When I was praying last night, the Lord told me to tell you to be careful, while driving today. He looked and me a little strange, expected, and said OK.
Well, we continued on the cruise, we all sort of took off at different times, but we all knew were to go. About 30 cars or so arrived at our destination, to have our brunch, the other 10 or so cars were late. Well a hour or so had gone by, and lone and behold, here comes the rest of the group.
After they settled in. I went up to Ed asked why they were so late. He said that they all were just cruising down the road, he said that he was about to pass, and race one of the other Hot Rods, when he had remembered what I told him. He said just a few minutes had passed by, when the car in front of him, the rear tire came flying off, and bounced passed his car, just missing him. He said that if he would have passed him, he would have crashed. What had happened , was the fellow was working on his car that very morning and forgot to tighten up the lug nut on that tire. It blows me away every time I tell the story. God is Gracious.
I said, wow. We just looked at each other, and smiled. Praise to be unto the Lord. Now that makes you feel good. I guess the Lord wanted to save their lives, what say you? I have more, I will divulge later. Update.
I just spoke with my friend Ed, on April 4th, 2014. We spoke about what had happened, it still makes him wonder, him every time we talk about it. Me too!
The whole point is, to hear from God, you have to pass through his son, get it. Born Again! ( Matthew 13:17) For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.Also see ( Matthew 13:11)
So the moral of the story, is to wait and see. I am not a prophet, by no means. Just a lover of Jesus. Grateful, for my Salvation. Just trying to be obedient, and to help the lost as the best that I am able to understand at that moment in my life. I will post as they come. So stay tuned.
If nothing comes true, oh well, I was wrong, wouldn’t be the first time, nor will it the last. But I well keep staying close unto the Lord, to hopefully continue to pray that the word that I have posted, is the truth, and not a bunk, prophesy. It can also be fun, hey you never know, just don’t bank on it.But don’t completely dismiss either.
Let’s wait and see, if I am able to discern, the Lord’s word again.
